Dear Friends and Residents of the 12th District and the community of Williamsbridge in The Bronx

July 11, 2020 would have been our Annual Olinville Oldtimer’s Reunion for 2020 – But the year 2020 has been like no other in our livable memories.

In June, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we made the decision to postpone OOTR 2020 until further notice. It was our hope that we would be able to meet later this summer and enjoy seeing old friends again as in past years. However, by Executive Order of The Mayor of New York City, all large public events are cancelled until September 30th.

In light of these events, we have made the decision to cancel OOTR 2020 this year. While this may seem like a difficult decision, the health and safety of the community, our family and friends, supersedes any public event! This made the decision to cancel this year’s event quite easy.. We have lost many friends, family and community members to this unprecedented disease, and we will dedicate next year’s OOTR to their memories.

We thank everyone who made contributions to this year’s event and rest assured your donations are in the account of the Olinville Old-Timers Association and will be used for next year’s reunion.

In the meantime, PLEASE OBSERVE ALL SOCIAL DISTANCING REGULATIONS… WEAR PROTECTIVE FACE COVERING IN PUBLIC, and GET TESTED!

We look forward to seeing all of you the SECOND SATURDAY OF JULY in 2021! STAY SAFE AND HEALTHY!
